I got this news through email from one of ex-Seratas email group. The wife of Menteri Besar Perak (Perak Chief Minister), Datin Seri Hajjah Fatimah has blogged about Hari Anugerah Kecermelangan Seratas ((Excellence Day) on her blog, which was held on last Oct 23rd.

I know that a lot of things are still not perfect, but I don’t want to wait any longer. Due to the time constraint plus other duniawi stuffs that are holding my hand tight, I can’t finish all in a short period of time. So here you go, this is the first official words from the admin of Seratas.com. As with this post as well, we’re officially announcing that Seratas.com is alive. It is open for everyone to join, not only for Seratas folks out there.
How it started? We’d just lost one of our friends due to road accidents, without even noticing about it. It’s only on the next couple of weeks we got the news, and we’re pretty shocked about it. We’ve no idea about the full story, except from a small piece of info that’s been passed from Allahyarham’s colleagues.
We sat back and started a discussion (a short one). Yeah, we’re lacking online portal, the online place where we can share everything, from news, events or even disasters. And the portal must be reachable almost to everyone. So there is nothing better than having our very own website.. and the rest is history. Standing right in front of you is yours.
Okey, seratas.com consists of 2 main areas. Seratas.com is acting like a blog, we, a group of admins and authors will be posting articles or news on the front page. The second part is forum, where we can discuss almost everything. If the articles posted on seratas.com are attractive and needs a further discussion, a new thread can be opened anytime.
Along the way, we will update the main site and forum to have a better look, more user frindly, functional and useful. Stay tune, and please… let your friends know about seratas.com. Let’s make seratas.com our proud heritage.
